- The timeline depends heavily on the project scope (e.g., a bathroom vs. a whole house), material delivery times, and the complexity of the design.
- For example: Basic bathrooms average 7-10 days. Basements average 5-7 weeks. Kitchen (including custom cabinet design and delivery) is 6-8 weeks total time, 2-3 after cabinets are delivered and demo begins.
- Generally, no, unless it’s a major whole-house renovation or if the kitchen/bathroom is the only one available. Otherwise, we plan the project out to be the least impactful to your everyday life.
- We work Monday-Friday 0900-1700. Depending on the project, we can start earlier but we like to be respectful to the neighbors and want to mitigate noise early in the morning.
- We all value family. Not just our own but your family as well. Therefore, we do not make it a habit to work after 5:00pm so that we can all have our family time.
Budget and Pricing
- This is the most common question. Cost can vary based on scope of job, size, design, and materials selected. Some basic prices are as follows:
- Full bathroom remodel starts at around $16,000 – $18,000 and a full kitchen remodel starts at around $25,000 – $30,000. But we pride ourselves in trying to be able to fit any realistic budget. So please feel free to contact us and we can provide you with a free consultation.
- In our standard estimates we include materials, labor, debris removal, basic construction clean up, permits and applicable inspections, and a one-year warranty on craftsmanship.
- Once we have agreed and all signed the contract the payments are broken down as follows: 30% deposit to start, 50% at the half way point (this will be outlined in the contract), and the final 20% once all inspections are passed/touch ups are complete.
Logistics and Licensing
- “Yes.” We can provide our license number upon request and we provide General Liability.
- We handle all permits and inspections. This allows us to keep fidelity of the project and appropriately manage permits, documentation, and coordination with local building inspectors and tradesman. Additionally, this puts the workload on us and allows the customer to relax and have less stress through the duration of the project.
- No, unless otherwise specified, the cost of materials is included in your contract. However, you do have to select your materials such as tiles, flooring, faucets, etc.
- In our contract we provide an allocated budget for these items. If you select something that costs more, you only pay the difference. Once you have made your selection, we will take care of resourcing and procurement.
Additional FAQs
- Just overnight if we install new shower glass. We need to let the silicone dry.
- You should follow the manufactures guidelines on the grout sealer, however, normally 24-48 hrs after grout has dried is a good timeframe.
- Yes & No. It depends on your specific project. We will go over all the details when we meet.
- We recommend having at least 2 new, 1 for demo stage and 1 after the drywall/paint stage.
- Yes, we will leave the site in “Broom swept” condition with materials stored/stacked each day.We will do a basic wipe down cleaning at the conclusion of the project.
